How to Transfer Gmail Emails to Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016
If you are using MS Outlook for managing emails then, you may be want to export Gmail into Microsoft Outlook to manage your emails then, just follow below mentioned steps.
- Firstly, log into Your Gmail account.
- After that, click on setting gear button>> then select settings.
- Now, on Settings page>>click Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Locate the IMAP Access section>> Enable IMAP>> then Save Changes button.
- After doing this, you can sign out. In Next section, you can setup the Gmail account in Outlook 2016 by configuring IMAP settings. Do as follows.
- First of all, start and launch MS Outlook in order to forward Gmail emails to Outlook.
- After that, click on File>>Info tab>>Add Account button.
- Now, choose Manual setup or additional server types and click on Next.
- After doing this, select POP or IMAP and click Next.
- In next, fill in the information of your Gmail account, and then click More Settings.
- Here, select the "Outgoing Server" tab, check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, and keep Use same settings as my incoming mail server selected.
- Now, select the Advanced tab. In the “Incoming server (IMAP)” section:
- Now, when you return to the Add Account dialog, check Automatically test account settings when Next is clicked, and then click Next.
- MS Outlook will be testing the account settings you entered. If every information that you have provided is right then, it will successfully log onto the server and send test e-mail messages. Then click Close.
- Now, Click Finish and Gmail account in Outlook 2016 added successfully.

>> In the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" section, choose TLS as type of encrypted connection, it will use 25 as outgoing server port; similarly, you can also choose SSL as encrypted connection and type 465 as outgoing server port. Finally, click on OK button.
